Q: Who can join DJ Skool?
A: DJ Skool is open to anyone aged 8 and up who has an interest in music and wants to learn how to DJ — no experience needed!

Q: Do I need my own DJ gear?
A: No. We provide all the equipment you’ll need for your lessons, including DJ controllers and headphones. You're welcome to bring your own gear if you have it.

Q: How are the lessons delivered?
A: All lessons are currently taught 1-on-1 and in person by an experienced DJ instructor. These sessions are hands-on, interactive, and tailored to each student’s pace and level. We will soon have online lessons also available for anywhere in the world

Q: Do you offer group classes?
A: Occasionally, yes. We run small group classes during school holiday periods. Keep an eye on our social media or sign up to our newsletter to be notified of upcoming sessions.

Q: Where are lessons held?
A: Lessons are held at our home studio or a designated space, depending on your location we can travel to your home. We’ll provide all details when you book your session.

Q: Will I learn to use real DJ software like Serato or Rekordbox?
A: Yes! You’ll get hands-on experience with industry-standard software like Serato DJ and rekordbox, using real DJ controllers.

Q: Is DJ Skool suitable for kids?
A: Definitely. We specialise in working with kids aged 8 and up in a fun, supportive, and safe environment. Our lessons help build musical confidence and creative thinking.

Q: Will my child need to practice at home?
A: It’s not required, but we do encourage it for learning quicker! If your child wants to keep practicing between sessions, we can recommend beginner-friendly equipment and software for purchase.

A: Yes — we often run fun, themed group DJ sessions during school holidays. Spots are limited, so bookings are essential please sign up or keep a eye on the website.
